The Executive Chairman of Ohafia L. G. A, Dr Okorafor Ukiwe commissioned projects built by the past Transition Councilor of Amaogudu ward, Hon Omoji Odim Omoji popularly known as Triple.O, as part of his stewardship to his people.
Dr Ukiwe in his address expressed his heartfelt joy and appreciation for the pace setting projects Hon. Omoji undertook which are in line with the Governor's agenda for grassroot development and effective representation..He stated that his administration would encourage as well as create enabling environment for the present Councillors to make meaningful impact in their various wards.
The civic center has facilities for handwashing in line with Covid-19 guidelines.
Speaking at the occasion, Hon Omoji thanked the People's Democratic Party Leaders for giving him the opportunity to serve his community, expressed his full loyalty to the party, Council of Ndi Eze led by His Royal Highness Eze Eme Uguru Ikpoka (Ukpaghari of Amaogudu), and Abiriba. He assured them of his readiness to always work for the people.
He said he was touched to build the culverts linking the Amaogudu health center to make pregnant women and other health patients have ease of movement to the health facility.
As a Councillor he built a civil center, Provided Street lights, built culverts and other mini projects while also empowering scores of Youths in the community.
The Eze of Amaogudu Abiriba,HRH Eme Uguru Ikpoka who was the royal father of the day, acknowledged the exemplary service of Hon.Omoji and urged the newly elected Councillors to do better.
He used the opportunity to thank the Local Government Chairman,Dr Okorafor Ukiwe for his humility and pledge to service.
In his vote of thanks Hon.Omoji thanked everybody who made it to the event and prayed for journey mercies.
