@GovernorIkpeazu commissions Ama-ano Mgboko electricity project

Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has commissioned the electricity project for the people of Ama-Ano , Mgboko  Amairi Community in Obingwa Local Government Area of the State.

Speaking at Eziama Primary School, venue of the ceremony, the Governor expressed joy that after about 24 years without electricity in the community, the electricity project was actualized.

He said that by installing  the electricity, development was sure in the community as electricity-based  businesses in the community would be revitalized.

The Governor assured the people that the electricity project would be extended to the villages it has not reached and promised to look into the issues of road construction and health care centre at the community.

Speaking also , the Chairman of the occasion, Mr. Everest Ogbonna said the project has taken them 24 years to achieve , saying that the Governor's gesture has relieved them from  darkness.
He said the Governor has done well in all sectors of the economy and assured the Governor that the people would ensure he is reelected in 2019 to continue his good works in the State.

In their separate speeches, Mr. Okeorji Ogbonna, Nze John Onyenweaku, Mr. S.N Wichi and Mrs Bibian Nwogu applauded the Governor for achieving the electricity project for the Ama-Ano community and promised him of the community’s block vote in 2019.

They also requested the Governor to fix the road that connects the community to Aba and build a health centre for them.

The traditional rulers of the community led by Eze E. E Anaba conferred on the Governor, the Ogbuhere uzo 1 Mgboko-Amairi.

Eze Anaba appreciated the efforts of their son and aide to the Governor, Mr. Okeorji Ogbonna in achieving the electricity project and identified the giant strides of the Governor in many sectors of the economy and endorsed the Governor for the second tenure in office, assuring that the people would vote for him in 2019.
