The Executive Chairman of Ohafia Local Government Area, Dr. Okorafor Ukiwe, today, joined the good people of Asaga Ohafia in a Civic Reception held in honour of Rev.Dr. & Pastor Mrs. UMA UKPAI; "under the Chairmanship of Elder Dr. Uma Oke Eleazu of Asaga Development Union.
Governor of Abia State, Okezie Victor Ikpeazu PhD. ably represented by the Deputy Governor, HE Rt.Hon.Sir Ude Oko Chukwu PhD was in attendance.
Deputy Speaker Abia State House of Assembly Rt.Hon. Ifeanyi Uchendu, Deputy Chief of Staff, Office of the Governor, Chief Ukpai Agwu Ukpai PhD, Executive Chairmen of Bende, Hon.Emmanuel Onwuchekwa and his Isiukwuato counterpart, Hon.Chima Agbeze , the Immediate Past T.C Chairman Ohafia Local Government Area Hon. Fred Idika were some of the dignitaries that graced the occasion.
Asaga Development Union used the occasion to thank God for their son who has excelled in the Work of God as an evangelist as well as appreciate Rev.Ukpai for his developmental strides in Asaga Ohafia which include the Uma Ukpai Polytechnic, 2 Hospitals and schools.
