It was a celebration galore as relatives,associates, friends and well-wishers gathered at Ahuoma Villa in Igbere, hometown of a young business mogul, Dr. Chima Desmond Anyaso as he holds a non denominational thanksgiving service to mark his 40th birthday.
In his exaltation at the Non Denominational Thanksgiving Service tagged "40 By Grace" Rev Eke Anyaku highlighted the necessity of giving God thanks, adding that God deserves thanks because of His word, work, will, wonders, ways that are all for the good of man. He said "We are alive today because of God, admonishing that money cannot keep you alive, education cannot keep you alive."
The man of God, who took his text from Psalm 103:1-5 and spoke on the topic" Giving Thanks Unto God" maintained that it is not by strength but by God's benevolence that one is alive in spite of challenges. He commended Dr. Chima Anyaso for giving God what is due to Him through thanksgiving. He said that Abia State needs a young man like Dr. Anyaso to occupy political office, describing him as focused and successful young man, who is committed to community development and called on all to emulate him.
Narrating his life story, Dr. Chima Desmond Anyaso said God's mercies for his life is endless. He thanked God for his continuous blessings upon his life. "I am standing here today only by His grace and that is my testimony. We will continue to give thanks, we will continue to empower people. Life is in the hands of God, nobody has the guarantee of life." He urged all members of his Igbere community, friends and well-wishers to join him in praising God for His grace in his life.
Dr. Anyaso assured that he would continue to be affecting people's lives positively in line with his covenant with God. "Politics or no politics, I will not change, Chima Anyaso remains Chima Anyaso." He disclosed that tomorrow he would be commissioning a borehole he sunk for a community in the Bende Federal Constituency, informing that he would do a road project as well as continue to do other projects for his people. He said at 40, he is just starting life
and requested that the people continue to pray for him, while enjoining both politicians and non politicians alike to strive to do well and be remembered even after life on Earth
Dr. Chima Desmond Anyaso, who used the opportunity to donate three vehicles ; including one bus each for ASMATA, Bende Women's Wing and Chima Anyaso Foundation as well as Toyota Camry Car for the Director General, Chima Anyaso foundation, Mr. Okechukwu Iboko. He equally presented three cows for ministers of the gospel, Ndi Eze of Ikwuisii and Ndi Eze of Umunnato.
The event which attracted many dignitaries, featured dedication of a chapel built by Dr. Anyaso for God's worship in his compound, prayers by Bende women, presentation of an award of honour to Dr. Anyaso by Partners for peace in Niger Delta, Abia Chapter, while management and staff of Ahuoma Anyaso Education Foundation, a foundation that Dr. Anyaso uses to reach out to less privileged also presented a portrait to the celebrant.
