NPM Gives Back To Abia Community.


Saturday was a very great and remarkable day in Ndiolumbe Autonomous Community as the Progressive minded youths of Ndiolumbe gave back to the Community.

The apex youth body in Ndiolumbe known as the Ndiolumbe Progressive Movement (NPM), on Saturday the 8th day of February 2020. Sponsored many students from Ndiolumbe who are about writing their Senior  WAEC with scholarship awards.

The President of the noble and prestigious organization, which is made of GRADUATES and UNDERGRADUATES from Ndiolumbe Autonomous Community, Engr.  Comr. Daniel C Jombo, in his opening speech/welcome address, thanked all present at the event, stressing that he is happy to welcome them at the epoch-making event.  He highlighted the aim of awarding the secondary school students with the scholarship award.

Comr. Jombo while speaking stressed that the event took place in accordance with the VISION AND MISSION of the association, which one of them is to eradicate illiteracy and mediocrity in Ndiolumbe. He went on to stress that it was also a means of giving back to society, more especially our Community which we have benefited much from.  The President thanked HRH Eze Sir. GA Ogbonna for been supportive of the program. He also gave special thanks to the benefactor of the great association, Engr. Obi Uzu,  who has contributed much to the growth of the association. A man who brings out not less than 5 million naira every year to award all undergraduates of Ndiolumbe in the high institution, with some of #50,000 per person every year. He prayed that God continues to bless him. He also thanked Mr. King Egwu and many other ardent supporters and sponsors of the Ndiolumbe Progressive Movement (NPM).

While awarding the successful candidates, Chief Paddy Anyatonwu and Comr. Jombo, charged the beneficiaries to be very serious with their academics,  always read hard and also bear it in mind that someday, they will also give back to the community positively.

The Dir. A project of NPM and also the Chairman of the planning committee, Comr. Bethel Agbara, also thanked everyone who was supportive of the program. He thanked the members of the committee ( Solomon Chijindu, Ezesinachi Emmanuel, Tessy Onwuka and chimdindu work)  for their hard work and perseverance in making sure that the event is a reality. He gave thanks to the President and all the EXCOS and special thanks to all members of NPM who contributed their resources to make sure that the project is a success.

The event featured scholarship award-giving and attracted the presence of Chief Patrick Paddy Anyatonwu (Director General, Abia State Mass Mobilization Agenc, who was a guest Speaker), Comr. Ajiere V Ihunanya(Guest Speaker), HRM Eze Ogbonna represented by High Chief Eze Nwauzor, Pioneer President of NPM Comr. Nwazuo Steve, Comrade Henschel Emmanuel, Comr. Christian Ndukwe and many other dignitaries.
