Following the dissolution of the 17 Local Government Areas Transition Committee Chairmen and their Deputies, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu further directs that the former Chairmen and their Deputies complete all handover formalities to their respective Heads of Service before closing of business today, Monday, 2nd December 2019.
Speaking through his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Onyebuchi Ememanka, The directed the Heads of Service to hold forth in their respective Councils pending the screening and confirmation of the new Chairmen and their Deputies by the State House of Assembly, and their subsequent inauguration by the Governor.
