@AlexOttiOfr and his desperate method

By Kingsley Maduforo

The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes. For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful. The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good... (Psalms 36:1- 3)

The above scripture speaks the character of a two time defeated Abia State Governorship aspirant under the platform of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), who has once again applied the wrong method in solving his failure of winning the Governorship sit in Abia State for the second time. His recent method is a show of frustration, bitterness and selfishness in the pursuit of his agenda. Alex Otti has lost his rhymes and his supporters can no longer give a good step to his songs. The effort of Otti to run down the developmental strides of Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu and his administration and the good people of Abia State, is making his common sense not to be common.

The recent show of shame by the APGA prodigal son was the hiring of women to walk round Aba the ancient city, making demands of what is in place and ongoing projects across the state. But all these arrangements ended in fracas due to the non payment of one thousand naira (1,000) stipend promised to each of them. What a shame and application of wrong method by Alex Otti again.

Yes, in Abia today no need to consult, all is not yet done but under Gov. Ikpeazu a lot has been achieved and Abia is making progress. The present administration in Abia has recorded great milestones both in economy and infrastructural development of the state. Anybody with clear understanding of Aba, the commercial city before the coming of Gov. Ikpeazu, can testify that there has been a paradigm shift from were we used to be.

Gov. Ikpeazu's road revolution has indeed turned the state of Abia into a huge construction site where caterpillars, bulldozers, and other earthmoving equipment are at work round the clock. The Governor is using cement technology with good drainage network to address the road challenges across the state, most importantly Aba, the commercial hub of the state. This shows his love for quality and standard and above all demonstrates his passion for the state.

Alex Otti is surprised with the speed Gov. Ikpeazu is running to deliver his plans and programmes for the state. The number of roads completed so far and its benefits, is still a wonder to him. These completed roads bring many benefits which include improved accessibility to markets to increase economic activities, increased access to education and health facilities and improved social interactions.

The Governor is working in line with his five developmental pillars of his administration and its enablers which are: Agriculture, Commerce and Industry, Oil and Gas, Education and Health. People are wondering how the magic is being done with the limited resources. The disposition of Gov. Ikpeazu has rubbed off on his style of governance and his achievements. He has shown himself to be a leader with high level of transparency in discharging his duties. His gaint strides in the above pillars and its enablers which include ease of doing business, infrastructure, housing, security, advocacy and media are in public domain.

Alex Otti has failed to live up to expectations by giving back to the community. But rather he preferred to stay in Lagos State, spinning cheap lies and deceit against a performing Governor who is serious to recover the state and put it on the limelight. With his accumulated wealth he has not impacted meaningfully in the lives of its citizens but can only be seen during elections or visiting the dead.

Right now, the man called Alex Otti is bereft of ideas on the vibrant strategy to sale himself to Abians. He resorted to cheap political propaganda to buy sympathy from Abians and not knowing he is applying the wrong method and cannot be taken serious.
