Wednesday night, Chief Godswill Obot Akpabio, the Senator representing Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District went on an unscheduled visit to the private residence of Barr. Emmanuel Enoidem the National Legal Adviser of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The PDP legal adviser, our sources said, refused to open the doors of his house to the strange night visitor for over an hour.
We gathered that Sen Akpabio who defected to the APC few months back, had persauded Bar Enoidem to grant him audience to table some vital issues for discussion.
However, when the tall golden gate was finally thrown open, our source in the compound disclosed that Akpabio was seen lying down flat on the floor begging Enoidem to remember the good things he had done for him and not allow him to be disgraced in the forth-coming Saturday election.
Our source also revealed that Enoidem vowed that he will not ask the Abak five people to vote for him as it will affect other election of his Political Party PDP .
Akpabio who came in company of his wife was almost in tears as Bar Enoidem did not gibe him any affirmation of conceding to his plea .
As at the time of filing this report our sources revealed to our reporter that Enoidem have sworn to teach Akpabio bitter lesson that he will respect the wishes of the people .
Bar Enoidem who have openly criticised Akpabio of acring cowardly by defecting to APC over EFCC threats of prosecution and possible imprisonmemt over looting of the State treasury during his tenure as the Governor of Akwa Ibom State .
