BENDE 2019: CHIMA ANYASO EMERGING AS THE CONSENSUS CANDIDATE

The Political fortune of the Candidate of  Peoples Democratic Party for Bende Federal Constituency in the upcoming general election, Dr. Desmond Chimaobi Anyaso got a big boost today as members and clergy of St. Joseph Catholic Church Bende Endorsed his candidacy.

Dr. Anyaso who worshipped with the ecstatic congregation donated a mobile speaker, microphones to the church, which was lacking before now, to aid in spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Peoples Democratic party candidate also granted scholarship to five members of the church to further their academic pursuit up to University level and promised to sustain his efforts in promoting quality education in Bende.

Rev. Fr. Dr. Polycarp Chukwu in his remarks, thanked the Peoples' candidate, Dr. Desmond Anyaso and promised him of the prayers of the church as well as God’s grace and support at the forthcoming elections.

He also encouraged members of the congregation who are eligible to vote to come out en masse to vote for the PDP candidate, Anyaso.

Speaking after the church service, some of the members of church prayed for the PDP Candidate and promised to vote for him during the election. According to them, Dr. Anyaso is the only candidate who has the interest of the people of Bende at heart.
