APGA IN ISUIKWUATO LOCAL GOVERNMENT WAS DEPLETED, AS OVER 300 OF IT'S MEMBERS DEFECTS TO PDP.

PDP ward 2 in Isuikwuato local government received over 300 members of APGA,  who tore their party cards and joined PDP. The leader of the group Hon. Mrs. Uloma Onuoha said that she was convinced to join PDP because of the visible and commendable achievements of Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu,  whom she fought against in 2015. Hon. Mrs. Onuoha contested the Isuikwuato state Assembly seat under the platform of APGA,  where she was declared a winner but was ousted by the Appeal Court after about 6 months in the House of Assembly. She said that she is satisfied with the sincerity of the Governor Dr. Ikpeazu, his innovativeness,  result oriented efforts in human capital development, promotion of made in ABA, infrastructural developments and honesty in governance.

Finally,  She submitted that what they (APGA) wanted to change in Abia state than in 2015 have all been receiving adequate attention from the administration of Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu,  thus;  no need for APGA to continue in its 2015 struggle but to join hands with the incumbent Governor in taking Abia state to greater heights till 2023. She said that they are all aware of the unprecedented growth recorded by the state under Dr. Ikpeazu but a few APGA members are still in the struggle for selfish reasons.

Speaking, Hon. Jude Obiukwu said that he is joining Hon. Mrs. Onuoha in support of Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu based on equity and his performance. Hon. Obiukwu who is from Uturu called on Abians to re-elect Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu.

Hon. Nnorom, a former APGA leader called on the Abia North candidates Alex Otti and Uche Ogah to wait for their turn in 2023 as they will fail woefully in 2019.

They all promised to work for the election of all PDP candidates come 2019.

PDP stalwarts were on hand to receive the former APGA members to the umbrella family, they include viz: Hon. Commissioner for information CHIEF JOHN OKIYI KALU, Hon. Commissioner for strategy and social development HON. OBINNA EKEKWE, Hon. Dr. MARTINS OKOJI the commissioner for sports, HON. CHINEDU IGBOKO, PDP local government party chairman, HON. MICHAEL IBEH NWOKE, the special adviser to the Governor on Housing and Infrastructural development and founder E Go-Go again 2019 KURUTU MOVEMENT;  whose movement initiated and put together the event, the founder EMEKA  IKWUAGWU FOUNDATION, and a host of other VIPs.

STAR GUESTS: HON. JUDE UDEACHARA, PDP candidate and by the grace of God the next member to represent Isuikwuato/Umunneochi federal constituency and Dr. FRANCIS ELEIZU, the next member to represent Isuikwuato state constituency in the Abia state House of Assembly.
