In all spheres of human endeavour and politics to be specific, which forms the epicenter of this write up, agreement is meant to be kept among political actors and attested to by witnesses who act as signatories.
On that pedestal, I express my disappointment over the political gimmicks played by someone who in public glare pledged and committed himself to represent the interests of Isiala Ngwa North and South in the green chambers for four years ( a tenure) and give way for another to represent the constituency.
Without sounding disrespectful, I want to say that Isiala Ngwa North and South deserve more than a person who could not keep to promises or pledges made in the purview of the public, a person beclouded by youthful exuberance because he felt he had amassed wealth. As the society grows in complexity and acquisition of fresh ideas, Isiala Ngwa North and South deserve a grassroot politician, astute, dogged, outspoken, intelligent, an academia who understands the nitty gritty of governance and ready to slug it out with others based on his wealth of exposure.
Beyond rehtorics, we need an academia who can initiate and defend bills and motions that would enhance the quality of lives of Isiala North/South indigenes, we need someone who values and sees education as a weapon to compete with others in a challenging environment. Oh yes! We do not need someone who holds a juicy position or belongs to a committee in the green chambers that is saddled with issues of employment, yet his constituents cluster at his residence every month to submit avalanche of curriculum vitae that eventually amount to nothing. What a disgrace!
In a society like ours where intellectualism is valued greatly, voting someone who thinks along this line is germane to voting someone who offers people drinks on their visit to his house than attending to their needs and defending the voiceless in the green chambers. Isiala Ngwa North/South Federal constituency cannot afford to miss out on this opportunity of choosing between intellectualism and youthful exuberance.
Dr A.C.B Agbazuere quintessential per exellence, an astute politician, a legal luminary, dogged, fearless politician, a right peg in the right hole, Isiala Ngwa North and South can longer wait to see your intellectualism brought to bear in the green chambers come 2019.
