The Senator representing Delta North Senatorial District in the upper legislative arm of the National Assembly, Senator Barr. Peter Nwaoboshi, has said that repositioning the district through effective representation is his priority.
Senator Nwaoboshi, speaking while inaugurating his campaign organisation in Asaba, commended members of the organization for accepting to serve and prayed God to direct them.
He advised them to work hard and avoid negative campaigns against opponents, while urging them to campaign for the re-election of the Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.
Senator Nwaoboshi said that the campaign for the re-election of the Governor have been made easier by the track record of Senator Okowa who, despite paucity of funds occasioned by the global economy recession, has evenly spread the dividends of democracy to the nooks and crannies of the state.
The Federal Legislator disclosed that members of the organization were carefully selected from all parts of the Senatorial District, stressing that they would not have problems in reaching out to the people.
Responding on behalf of the members of the campaign organisation, the General Secretary, Mr. Philip Elueme, thanked Senator Nwaoboshi for finding them worth to serve.
He promised that members of the organization will deliver on their assignment.
