The Concerned Ohafia Youths on Friday endorsed the member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia at the federal house of representative, Hon. Uko Nkole, the governor of Abia state, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu and his deputy Sir Ude Ukachukwu for a second term in office.
In a motion moved by Hon. Johnson Iro and seconded by Mr. Chimezie Ndukwe Ikenga during the solidarity visit of the Concerned Ohafia Youths at the constituency office of the honourable member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency , Ebem Ohafia on Friday 20th April, 2018, the youths unanimously adopted and endorsed Hon. Uko Nkole, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu and Ude Oko Chukwu for second term in office come 2019.
Speaking on behalf of the group at the constituency office, the leaders of the Ohafia Concerned Youths, Hon. Nwafor Oka Udo and Hon. Obia said they are satisfied with the unprecedented laudable achievements of Uko Nkole who within his two years in office has changed the narratives of the federal constituency in the areas of human capital development, infrastructural development, provision of basic amenities which has never happened before in the annals of history of the constituency.
Therefore, they have come to appreciate and show solidarity to him maintaining that Uko Nkole still remain the best choice. They urged their members to get their PVC which is the only instrument they can use to vote Hon. Uko Nkole again so he can continue with his good works.
Also reaffirming their support, the group said for equity and justice, they have resolved to ensure that the Charter of Equity which has been the procedures for electing a Federal House of Representatives member for Arochukwu/Ohafia constituency is upheld and not truncated as it is the turn of Arochukwu to produce a federal house member for eight (8) years which Uko Nkole is currently occupying.
In the same vein, they thanked the Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for his caterpillar revolution which has reached Ohafia as work has commenced on the proposed Ohafia ring road.
Addressing the group , Hon. Ndubuisi Eme and Chief Don Emeka Emeri who represented Uko Nkole thanked the group for the solidarity visit and coming to show appreciation to consolidate the good works of the erudite lawmaker who they said is still poised to do more with his vision of one village one project which all the villages that make up the federal constituency has felt the impact and benefitted from his numerous projects.
