According to Chief Okiyi; “aside from the completion of phase one of Abiriba ring road, construction of Orie Akwa market and donation of a house to a widow at Abiriba, Governor Ikpeazu’s Caterpillar Revolution actually started at the areas of Aba where majority of Abiriba people reside. Our people literally own Ukaegbu road, Ehere road, Umuola road, Ovom road, Owerri road off Okigwe, Kamalu, Faulks etc. Aba is our second home and Governor Ikpeazu is by implication fixing our first and second homes in a manner that is historically unprecedented. In addition to all that, the Governor has shown great faith with our people by appointing many sons and daughters of Abiriba Kingdom into various positions in his government as well as executed Abiriba ring road phase 1 among the very first projects he embarked on.
“Our people historically recognize genuine friendship and kindness and it behoves on us to express our appreciation to Governor Ikpeazu through the ballot box in 2019 and I am confident we will stand shoulder to shoulder with Governor Ikpeazu when the time comes”
Other top government officials who were present include Chief Mandela Obasi, Honorable Thomas Nkoro, Barr Nnenna Obewu, Honorable John Eke, Chief Ifeanyi Isikaku, Chief Gabriel Elendu, Honorable Nnamdi Udueze, Elder (Pharm) Ifeanyi Agbai and many aides of the Governor.
