Tell our people the truth about positive developments in Abia State – @JohnOkiyiKalu

Abia State Commissioner for Information, Chief John Okiyi Kalu, has advised religious organizations in the state to pray always for those in authority and also tell the people the truth about the positive developments in the state.Chief Okiyi Kalu who gave the advice in his office when he received members of Fountain of Faith Youth Foundation on a courtesy visit, commended them “for being a responsible organization engaged in molding young people with the infallible word of God”.

The Information boss charged members of the non governmental organization to spread the good news that things are daily getting better in Abia State under the watch of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu adding that the Governor is constructing solid roads across the three geopolitical zones of the state as well as promoting Made in Aba brands to boost the economy of the state and spread prosperity.

According to him, “the Governor’s long term commitment to promoting Made in Aba brands can easily be confirmed by his sponsoring the first set of 30 Aba shoe makers to China for training in automated shoe making. This is one of the many ways Governor Ikpeazu is spreading prosperity in Abia State and empowering the youths in a sustainable way"

He promised to attend and support their forthcoming programme tagged "Okezie Ikpeazu: The Abia Tower of Hope, Lecture and Quiz Competition".

Speaking earlier, the President of Fountains of Faith Youth Foundation, Pastor Chibuike Denwosu, said they came to acquaint the Commissioner with the activities of the foundation and to invite him to be a Guest Speaker at the Season 3 (three) of their programme, 'Okezie Ikpeazu: The Abia Hope Lecture and Quiz' taking place in September 2018.

Pastor Denwosu used the visit to pass a vote of confidence on Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, on behalf of the foundation, for his developmental efforts in the State.

He said: “we are here to convey our satisfaction and indeed that of the youths of Abia State with Governor Ikpeazu's impressive performance since assuming office in 2015."

The highpoint of the visit was the presentation of souvenirs to the Commissioner while the Permanent Secretary, Elder Ifeanyi Agbai, Directors of the Ministry and a former Board Chairman, Abia State Polytechnic Aba, Chief Mba Ukariwo were present during the visit.
